Good rooms with a view of a scenic river walk, outdoor lounge beside the river, ballroom and convention space, plus clean and smoke free casino. This property is a good accommodation option available when visiting the historic town of Schenectady, NY. I wouldn't stay here again, just too much of a hassle unless your primary purpose is to go to the casino. Conference sit-down dinner was very good, but no coffee was served until all the plates were cleared! Didn't come until after the desert! And, no masks worn by staff. Events center for conference was OK.smallish breakout rooms but nice outdoor patio and, finally, a water view. Front desk had no suggestions other than casino restaurants. I had no desire to navigate the crowd at the casino so back to my car to try to find a restaurant in the dark in a strange city. You have to walk thru the casino to get to the restaurants. Mine looked across at a wall.ask for a harbor view. As others have said, room was clean, comfy, and new. Dragged my suitcase thru the ramp to the elevator and down to the lobby thru a maze, with the casino handy but the hotel lobby further away. I waited in my car till a cruising hotel security car broke up the screaming match.
I drove in Saturday evening to find a crowded parking ramp with an altercation going on.
